CAUSE
This behavior can occur when a user
does not have the correct privileges when connected to a network while
installing printer driver.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, follow these
steps:
- Right click on My Computer and select Manage.
- Click on Local Users and Groups, Groups.
- Add user to Power user or Administrator then reinstall printer
driver.
User could not print to network printer
because user was not setup as a Power user on the users System. User
needs to have the power user domain rights to print to network printers.

The

SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to print a large Microsoft
PowerPoint presentation, you may receive an error message similar to
the following:
Windows cannot print due to a problem
with the current printer setup.
Try one or more of the following:
- Check the printer by printing a test page from Windows.
- Make sure the printer is turned on and online.
- Reinstall the printer driver.
- None of the suggestions in the error message resolve the issue.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur when the
PowerPoint presentation contains pictures or other graphics that make
the file size very large.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, reduce the size
of the pictures in the presentation.
To do this, follow these steps:
NOTE: It is not necessary to know in
advance which picture is causing the issue.
Start PowerPoint and open the presentation
that is triggering the printing issue.
- On the Picture toolbar, click Compress Pictures.
- In the Compress Pictures dialog box, click all pictures in document
under Apply to.
- Under Change resolution, click Print.
- Under Options, click to select both the Compress pictures and
Delete cropped areas of pictures check boxes.
- Click OK.
